About the author:

Dancing had always been my greatest passion.  One road trip out West changed that forever.  I will always dance and it will always make me happy, but I now have another equally gratifying passion – being outside.  The kind of being outside where you’re sleeping under the stars and miles away from any sight of civilization.  Where you carry all you need to survive on your back and all you hear are the sounds of wind, water, and animals.  This is my favorite place to be. Whether it’s getting out for a day hike in my own neck of the woods (the Southern Appalachians) or taking two months to drive coast to coast seeing all I can, I get outside every chance I get.
